Roberta Ann Wornell, born September 27, 1937, peacefully passed away on June 28, 2024. Born Roberta Ann Smith, she married Loydd E. Wornell in 1955 and together raised their children in Midland, Texas. Known for her active involvement in Altrusa, Desk & Derrick, and Memorial Christian Church, Roberta dedicated herself to community service and church activities. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, finding joy in their company. Preceded in death by her husband and son, Roberta is survived by her son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held, with donations to local animal rescues accepted in her memory. Arrangements are under Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Midland.
