The Venue at Live Oak is excited to host the Inaugural Benefit Bash Christian Concert on Saturday with doors opening at 6 p.m. | The Venue at Live Oak

The Venue at Live Oak is hosting the Inaugural Benefit Bash Christian Concert this Saturday, with doors opening at 6 p.m. Originally planned as a ticketed event, the concert is now free for all ages, making it accessible to the entire community for a night of inspiring music, family-friendly activities, and a chance to support a meaningful cause.

Headlining the event are Rebecca St. James and Jordan St. Cyr, both renowned Christian artists known for their heartfelt performances. Their music will be the highlight of the evening, creating a powerful atmosphere of worship and community. The concert is being held in support of the Texas Baptist Home for Children (TBHC), a nonprofit organization that provides care, love, and support to children overcoming the challenges of abuse and neglect. Throughout the night, attendees will have opportunities to make donations to TBHC to help fund their vital work.

Yamila Alvarez, spokesperson for The Venue at Live Oak, explained that the inspiration behind the event comes from a personal connection.

“The owner, Steve Jeter, holds the organization close to his heart because his mother grew up within the walls of TBHC. This cause is deeply personal for him, and he is passionate about making this event a meaningful way to give back to an organization that gave so much to his family,” Alvarez said.

In addition to live music, families can look forward to a variety of children’s activities. These include bounce houses, balloon artists, and face painting, all designed to ensure that children of all ages have a memorable time.

“We’ll have activities suitable for all children, and staff will be onsite to monitor the bounce houses for safety,” Alvarez said.

While the concert is free to attend, donations to TBHC are encouraged throughout the evening to support their ongoing mission. When asked whether the event will become an annual occurrence, Alvarez said, "The owner is still unsure of making this an annual event, but we’re excited to see how the community responds."

The Benefit Bash will take place at The Venue at Live Oak in Midland, Texas. It’s an evening you won’t want to miss—filled with music, family fun, and the opportunity to give back.
