TruHotel by Hilton expected to begin construction in 2025

A Hilton hotel is slated to be developed in the northern portion of the city, according to a filing with a state regulatory agency.

Addison-based Western International Realty Acquisition Corporation, led by Director of Development Ryan Montgomery, is planning on constructing an $11 million Tru Hotel by Hilton. The project will involve the development of a 102-room, four-story hotel within 44,155 square feet.

According to the filing, the project is expected to begin in 2025. Dallas-based architects Mayse & Associates worked on the design of the hotel that will be located at 4100 North Big Spring Street.

According to Loopnet.com, the 4.76-acre property is undeveloped and zoned for commercial use.

Montgomery has been with Western International for over 17 years, according to his LinkedIn profile. Before being named director of development in March of 2023, he was the corporate director of hotel openings for the company for over 15 years.
