A local oil and natural gas company will renovate several floors of its headquarters at Fasken Center, according to a filing with a state regulatory agency.
According to the filing, Diamondback Energy will renovate 15,430 square feet of office space on the third floor of Tower One at a cost of $900,000. The project is expected to begin on September 30 and be completed by February 28, 2025. Lubbock-based JFitz Architecture & Design is overseeing the project.
Renovations to the sixth floor of Fasken Tower One are also expected to be completed. The scope of work includes upgrades for tenant space and layout adjustments for functionality. The estimated cost of the remodel is also $900,000 and follows the same timeline as the third-floor remodel.
According to another filing, Diamondback Energy is also expected to renovate the seventh floor in Fasken Tower Two. The $950,000 project includes upgrades for 15,430 square feet of tenant space, layout adjustments for functionality, and the elimination of a staircase. Diamondback Energy is remodeling this project under its subsidiary Tall City Towers, LLC.
