A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) reports that a new footwear store will open at Midland Park Mall.

Tradehome Shoes will lease and renovate 2,635 square feet of space at the shopping center for its store, according to TDLR. The working title for the $125,000 renovation project is Tradehome @ Midland Park Mall. Work on the site is expected to begin on September 9 and run until October 25, led by Tradehome Shoes Director of Construction Will McGowan.

According to TDLR, Indianapolis-based Simon Properties, led by Senior Tenant Coordinator Brian Hostetler, owns the mall and is collaborating with Tradehome Shoes on the project. The Arlington-based design firm Cortland Morgan Architect is also part of the project team.

Hostetler’s LinkedIn profile indicates he has been with Simon Property Group since July 2018. He previously worked as a project manager for arcDesign in Indianapolis for 14 years and graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in architecture.
