Primus: ‘I’ve received my 10th D1 offer from the University of Houston’

Pulelei’ite M. Primus continues to attract interest from collegiate football programs. According to a tweet on X, the Midland High School Bulldogs offensive lineman has received another offer to play at the next level.

In July, Primus revealed that he had received an offer to play for the University of Arkansas after speaking with their offensive line coach Eric Mateos. He also received an offer to play for the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA) that same month after speaking with their offensive line coach Kurt Traylor.

According to Six Star Football, a high school football blog website that promotes college prospects, Primus has shown significant improvements in his blocking techniques from his sophomore season. The blog noted, "Primus’s work ethic and determination have made him a focal point of Midland’s blocking success, and he is poised for a major junior season."

Primus is the son of Stanley Primus, who played collegiate football for Temple University and then proceeded to play for numerous Arena League football teams, according to Legacy.com. After his playing days were over, Stanley Primus moved to West Texas to become an oil driller.

According to 247Sports, Primus is listed at 6’4" and 325 pounds and is entering his junior season for the Bulldogs. He plays guard and has also received offers to play football at North Texas, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, TCU (Texas Christian University), Tulane, and UTEP (University of Texas at El Paso).
