MALEVO, the "South American Sensation," was created by director, choreographer, and dancer Matías Jaime. The company has re-envisioned the Argentine dance of Malambo, a traditional folkloric dance originally performed by Gauchos of the Pampas region, elevating it to a modern and avant-garde vision.

While maintaining the virility and dexterity of Malambo, the company has fused its classic technique with other styles such as Flamenco and incorporated live percussion onstage. Set to a pulsating rhythm of drums, the choreography combines the use of boleadoras—a leather and stone hunting tool used by Gauchos—with fast leg movements, energetic zapateados (stomping), and quick cepillados ("brushing"/"scrubbing").

The performances are dynamic shows where dancers push the Malambo style beyond its limits, offering audiences an extraordinary visual and sensory experience. After being named "Cultural Ambassador of the National Identity of Argentina," MALEVO has achieved numerous successes. These include shows in Las Vegas, New York, Dubai, Paris, Qatar, France, Monte Carlo, Spain, Saint Petersburg, Canada, London, Moscow; participation with Cirque du Soleil; creating Malambo choreographies for Ricky Martin's Las Vegas show; a year-long season at Universal Studios in Osaka; performances on Norwegian Cruise Line; and reaching the semi-finals on America's Got Talent.

The company has also performed at festivals such as "Juste Pour Rire" and "Le Incroyable" in Canada; "La France a un Incroyable Talent" in France; Global Village in Dubai; Santa Lucía Festival in Mexico; Lollapalooza in Argentina; Dance Open in Russia; Gastronomic Culinary Festival in Spain; Monte Carlo Anniversary 22 Historique Rally; Festival de Circo in Argentina; Norwegian Cruise Line events; and more.

Sony Latinoamerica filmed a special program titled "Malevo Has Talent," broadcast for Spanish-speaking viewers. Additionally, MALEVO runs "Malevo Art Factory," an online platform for teaching dances like Malambo and other disciplines worldwide.
