A groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new automotive campus for the Sewell Family of Companies, according to a Facebook post.

According to the company’s website, the Sewell Family of Companies operates nine West Texas car dealerships specializing in Chevy sales, BMW service, auto financing, and pre-owned inventory.

A state regulatory filing in 2021 indicated that the Sewell Midland Dealership Campus was anticipated to cost $28 million. The campus is expected to include three auto sales buildings, two auto service buildings, a combined restaurant and office building, a car wash building, a photobooth building, and two greeter stations spanning 26 acres. The project is projected to be completed by 2026.
