MISD says: ‘Shout out to our maintenance crews for repairing a broken sewer line at Parker Elementary’

Midland Independent School District (MISD) expressed gratitude to its maintenance crew for repairing a broken sewer line at Parker Elementary, according to a Facebook post. The measure ensures that there should be no issues on campus when teachers return next week to prepare for the upcoming school year.

"Shout out to our maintenance crews for repairing a broken sewer line at Parker Elementary! Everything's back up and running now to ensure no problems when teachers return to campus next week to prepare for the school year," said ISD, Midland ISD, according to Facebook.

According to the MISD website, Parker Elementary is a diverse pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade campus, offering courses for students learning English, autism support classes, and classes for special needs children aged three and four years.

Principal Andrea Rodriquez announced via Twitter that the fourth-grade staff this year will include Ms. Samantha Walter, Ms. Madison Adcock, Mrs. Kerry Leonard, Mrs. Mileidy Herrera, and Mrs. Adriana Rodriquez. The kindergarten teachers will be Mrs. Cristel Flores, Mrs. Letecia Moreno, Mrs. Kristen Scott, and Ms. Azucena Sierra.

Midland ISD stated that the school year will begin on August 13 and run until May 21, 2025.
