The Midland Chamber assisted Senior Life Midland in inaugurating its new 30,000-square-foot facility on July 15.

According to the chamber’s Facebook post on the grand opening, the facility is more than just a building; it serves as a testament to Midland's commitment to caring for its senior citizens. The post stated that the project allows seniors greater access to nutritious meals, essential services, and a vibrant community.

According to Permian Basin CBS affiliate KOSA News, the facility aims to address Midland’s rapid growth. The station reported that the one-story building houses a state-of-the-art kitchen for the organization’s Meals on Wheels program and 15 administrative offices.

Representatives from the Midland County Sheriff’s Office also attended the grand opening, according to a Facebook post from the Permian Basin law enforcement agency. The facility is located at 3301 Sinclair Ave.
