Earth, Body, and Soul is set to host its monthly Cosmic Conversations event on June 14 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 333 North Midkiff Road. This event promises an evening of thought-provoking discussions on challenging topics, bold opinions, and engaging conversations aimed at fostering a safe space for spiritual exploration.
The event welcomes individuals from all walks of life, whether they come from a religious background or identify as secular but are drawn by good intentions and a quest for understanding. The goal is to create a non-judgmental environment where participants can question, observe, and listen to diverse perspectives.
Bridget Fulfer, owner of Earth, Body, and Soul, emphasized the inclusive nature of the event.
“We create a welcoming space for everyone seeking, questioning, learning, growing, and looking for connection, all without judgment,” Fulfer said. “Our aim is to support and validate their concerns, engaging in genuine conversations about their questions or struggles. I believe Cosmic Conversations is perfect for this.”
Previous discussions have tackled topics such as "The Ego in Spirituality," "Can You Be Spiritual and Still Believe in God?" and "Mental Health vs. Spirituality." This month’s focus will be on "Astrology and Their Quirks," promising another evening of rich dialogue and introspection.
Fulfer noted that the gatherings, which typically draw 15 to 20 participants, foster a sense of camaraderie.
“Attendees enter as guests but often leave as friends,” she said.
Fulfer described being spiritually minded as being open to all paths and embracing a journey of discovery. This approach includes confronting past issues and maintaining an open-minded perspective while respecting others' journeys.
“Some things might be too open or simply not suitable for an individual's current path, and that's completely okay,” Fulfer said. “However, being spiritually minded also means respecting others, no matter where they are, without judgment, fear, or belittlement.”
Fulfer aims for attendees to leave the event with a sense of peace and connection, reassured that they are not alone in their spiritual quest.
“We believe everything happens for a reason, serving as a lesson, test, or blessing. Our aim is for our community to support and help them discover their authentic selves in a safe, non-judgmental space,” she said.
The event is free and open to the public. Interested individuals are encouraged to RSVP either in-store or on the Earth, Body, and Soul website.
