The city of Midland announced that Hogan Park Golf Course will be closed on June 10 for the Sixth Annual Permian Basin Association of Pipeliners (PBAP) Golf Tournament. The tournament is slated to take place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to the event's webpage.
According to the event organizers, there will be two shotgun start times, one at 8 a.m. and another at 1:30 p.m. They said that registration and a meal will be provided an hour before each time.
The tournament will be played in a four-person scramble format. Each player hits a tee shot on each hole, and the team selects the best shot. All players play from that spot and continue this method on each shot until the hole is completed.
