Fierce Property Investments Inc. has expressed interest in preparing for future retail and fast-food development on a property located on North State Highway 349.
On behalf of the corporation, Schuman Surveying Inc. requested to plat in order to secure septic permits and addresses for future retail and fast-food development at 6409 North State Highway 349, according to the agenda of the Midland Planning and Zoning Commission's meeting scheduled for May 20.
The proposed subdivision is set to span 5.83 acres across three lots, as per the same commission's agenda. The preliminary plat plan received approval during the Planning and Zoning Commission's meeting held on October 16, 2023. Furthermore, the zone change request was approved by the city council on February 27.
According to the Midland Planning and Zoning Commission's agenda for its May 20 meeting, no issues or problems were identified by city departments regarding this development. The staff recommended approval of the final plat of retail addition.
