Midland Memorial Hospital has officially launched the Project Search program in collaboration with various organizations to support students with developmental disabilities in gaining valuable job skills. The program commenced on August 9th with seven interns from Midland Independent School District (MISD).

Stephen Bowerman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Midland Memorial Hospital, expressed the hospital's commitment to assisting the interns in their journey towards finding employment and achieving success. He stated, "MMH wants to assist these interns in finding employment and becoming successful in their future endeavors." Bowerman also highlighted the hospital's hope for the interns to join the MMH family as employees after completing the program.

The interns participating in the Project Search program will undergo a one-year employment preparation program following the MISD calendar. The initiative aims to equip students aged 18-22 with the necessary skills to enhance their employability and integration into the workforce.
