Midland Health announced the inauguration of the "BEE Award," a new aspect of their recognition program dedicated to honoring the positive performance of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Patient Care Assistants (PCAs).
According to a release from Midland Health, the BEE Award is designed to celebrate non-licensed nursing personnel who demonstrate a commitment to patient care by reflecting Midland Health attributes: empathy, exceptional care delivery skills, positivity in the workplace, and alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Midland Memorial Hospital.
Staff members, patients, and visitors are encouraged to participate in this recognition process by submitting nominations through the online portal or by filling out paper nomination forms available across all Midland Health facilities.
Honorees of the BEE Award will be publicly celebrated within their respective units, receiving a certificate, an award pin, and heartfelt tokens of appreciation. The community is also invited to witness the honoring of the first BEE Award recipients and support ongoing efforts to acknowledge excellence in healthcare.
"We understand the profound impact our CNAs and PCAs have on the patient experience,” said Director of the Medical Surgical Division of Midland Memorial Hospital Jessica Tully in the release. “Their dedication to patient care is nothing short of inspiring, and the BEE Award is a reflection of our immense appreciation for their unwavering professionalism and kindness."
Ranked as the 36th healthiest county in Texas by the County Health Rankings with over 2,500 employees, Midland Health continues its mission to lead healthcare for a greater Midland.
