"I was completely surprised when I realized I was being recognized by the Midland Rockhounds," said Allen in an emailed statement to Midland Times. "Frankly speaking, I thought I was a 'table filler' and would have a great steak at the same time. I've known the people who run the Midland Rockhounds and have attended a couple of their events in the past, so it's not lost on me the significance of the award."

Continuing with a profound acknowledgment, Allen said, "Mr. Seator has left an indelible mark on the organization and the City of Midland. I am deeply honored to receive an award named for him and in his memory."

The award ceremony not only recognized Forrest Allen's substantial contributions but also highlighted the lasting impact of individuals like Scott Seator on both the organization and the community of Midland. Forrest Allen's recognition with the Scott Seator Community Achievement Award serves as evidence of his dedication and positive influence on Midland College and the broader Midland community.
