The First Church of the Nazarene, also known as the Naz Family Church, located at 1400 S. Lancaster St. in Big Spring, has revived a beloved Christmas tradition in the Permian Basin with its 37th annual Drive-Thru Nativity. This event brings together church members to recount the story of Jesus and celebrate the spirit of Christmas.

Visitors to this unique production, which takes place from December 8-10, are welcomed by live animals and a cast comprising more than 100 people, according to an announcement made by the church. The post further stated that the Naz Family Church puts significant effort into ensuring that the scenes accurately represent ancient buildings and locales from biblical times. Although admission to the Drive-Thru Nativity is free, donations are gratefully accepted.

As reported by Odessa NBC station KWES News, Pastor Steve Sullivan revealed that this year's presentation consisted of 13 scenes. The church even issued a call for volunteers to help with this large-scale project.

Reflecting on her experience as a volunteer, Kaleigh Corbitt Sullivan commented on KBest Media’s post: "Volunteers will leave encouraged by the experience I can attest to that."
