UTPB professor loves to travel for academia

University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) faculty member Dr. Cynthia Anderson is fresh from serving as a keynote speaker at the Oklahoma Counseling Association (OCA). This event recently took place in Oklahoma, where Dr. Anderson was able to proudly represent UTPB.

Kicking off the highlights of her recent activities, University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) faculty member Dr. Cynthia Anderson is fresh from serving as a keynote speaker at the Oklahoma Counseling Association (OCA).
Anderson, who is an Assistant Professor of Counseling in UTPB’s College of Education, relishes the opportunity to represent the university at out-of-town conferences.

Shifting focus onto her role at UTPB, According to the release, Anderson encourages students to attend UTPB where she said they’ll receive a plethora of support.
"I highly recommend the Counseling Department at UTPB because of the exemplary experience, preparation, and knowledge that students will receive with us," she said in the release. "We have a 100% placement rate because of how well trained our graduates are to begin as professionals in an area where the needs are so great."

Moreover, with reference to her upcoming engagements, The release said that Anderson is listed as a presenter at the Texas Association for Play Therapy in Arlington.
The university said that it’s proud of all of her accomplishments and grateful toward the support she continues to show its students.
