Midland tennis player Preston Crutchfield ranks in Boys’ 14 bonus points bracket in week ending Dec. 10

Preston Crutchfield of Midland finished 1,389th in the United States Tennis Association’s Boys’ 14 bracket in the week ending Dec. 10.

They have zero bonus points having earned zero in the last week.

Their ranking fell by 20 from the week before.

Players earn points per round in tournaments, winning higher points the further into a tournament they advance.

Jarett Cascino of New York Tennis Magazine says tennis is one of the most competitive youth sports.
