Poole, Corrales projected to earn at-large seats on Midland City Council

Robin Poole and Dan Corrales are projected to earn at-large seats on the  Midland City Council, beating out candidates Spencer Robnett, Michael Trost and Dustin Johnson. 

The two candidates scored 35% and 24% of votes, respectively.

Both Robnett and Trost sought re-election to their roles on the council this term.

With 55% of votes, Scott Dufford has also been projected the winner of the seat on City Council District 1. 

According to a report by NewsWest 9, Scott Dufford attempted to secure another term as District 1 councilman, with Ross Schumann as his challenger. 

Schumann originally vied for an at-large seat, the report states.

The Texas Secretary of State states as of 2020, Midland County had a total 90,392 registered voters.
