Midland Health has promoted Samuel Moore to the position of vice president and chief financial officer after filling a vacancy previously held by Stephen Bowerman, a press release announced.
Moore reportedly is joining Midland Health from The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus where he worked as a vice president and CFO for more than three-and-a-half years.
Before working at the University of Kansas, Moore worked in Oklahoma and Florida as a CFO and began his career in health care after joining the BSA Health System in Amarillo, Texas. Moore began serving in financial roles when he started at BSA. He earned his certified license for public accounting in 2008 in Texas and holds an M.A. in finance and accounting.
Moore is moving to Amarillo with his wife of eight-and-a-half years and his three children, Thaddeus, Ezekiel and Selah.
