Midland Memorial Hospital wants people to know that they are not alone this holiday season that will be observed under tightened COVID-19 restrictions as cases and deaths continue to set daily records.

"As we enter the holiday season, we know this is not a joyous time of year for everyone," the hospital said in a Facebook post. "Healthy Minds want to help our community receive the help and support they need."

Midland Memorial Hospital posted a flyer on its Facebook page to let community members know they can access medical care remotely during the holiday season.

Midland Health launched BasinMD, an online platform that lets users access medical care remotely 24/7. Users can use their smartphone, tablet, or computer to access BasinMD to attend a virtual visit and receive a diagnosis, treatment, and medication if appropriate from live healthcare providers. The BasinMD app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or iTunes and the online portal can be accessed at https://basinmd.org/landing.htm.

According to the flyer, the cost of a virtual visit is $69, but users can use coupon code BH001 to receive a visit at no charge.
