Midland College and Midland Community Theatre collaborating on 'To Kill a Mockingbird'

Throughout the years, Midland College and Midland Community Theatre have developed a rich reputation of providing first-rate performances to the community. This fall promises to be no different.

The two entities are collaborating on a production of Harper Lee’s classic novel "To Kill a Mockingbird," the college said in a news release. The show is running through Oct. 4.  Midland College employees and students are involved in producing the show which is directed by Tim Jebsen, director of Midland College's drama program.

Others from the college playing a role in the production include biology professor Dr. Paul Mangum as the stage manager and web editor Jeff McDonald in the role of Judge Taylor.

Tickets for the show, which began running Sept. 18 at Davis Theatre One, 2000 West Wadley, are available through the MCT Box Office at 432-570-4111.
