Reed Peré is the new vice president of operations within the Permian Basis Operations for Danos, San Angelo Live reported.

He has been working in the industry for 15 years and will be tasked with managing the company’s service lines and operations in the basin, the story said.

Peré was chosen due to his combination of leadership skills, experience in the industry and intimate knowledge of the business.

“The Permian continues to be a place of great potential for Danos’ future, and we are excited to have an executive-level team member overseeing our growing operations in the area,” company owner Paul Danos told San Angelo Live.

Peré has been with Danos since 2009, having been given the Staff Employee of the Year recognition in 2012. He was named to the executive team in 2015.

From 2015 to 2018, Peré was the VP of production services and from 2018 to present he has been serving as the VP of business development.

Danos, established in 1947, has operated in the Permian Basin since 2012.

Among the new members to join Danos’ leadership team are:

Juan Torres, who joined the company in February 2020 and has been named general manager of Permian projects. He graduated from West Texas A&M University and has 15 years of industry experience.

Steve Bailey joined the company in December 2019 and is serving as the executive account manager. Bailey has 37 years of industry experience.

Jim Comfort returned to Danos in 2019 and has 20 years of industry experience. He now is the Permian operations manager.

Brian Gray is the Permian Area manager and has 15 years of industry experience. Gray graduated from Texas Tech University and previously worked with Danos from 2012 to 2014.
