Waystone Brewing will offer a unique floral arranging experience on Friday, March 29, at 2 p.m., in collaboration with Lillie Bell’s Bouquets. The hands-on class, which is nearly sold out, will allow participants to create their own floral arrangements while enjoying a complimentary mimosa. The $50 admission fee includes all materials.
Jaylyn Moorehouse of Waystone Brewing said the idea for the collaboration came after seeing a previous Lillie Bell’s Bouquets event.
“We’ve been looking to bring in a person to teach flower arranging at Waystone for a very long time,” Moorehouse said. “We think it will be an event that appeals to a lot of people and maybe will bring in some folks that aren’t familiar with us yet.”
The class will be led by Cheyenne of Lillie Bell’s Bouquets, a local floral designer known for her vibrant and artistic arrangements. She will guide participants through the process of selecting flowers, creating balanced compositions, and using professional techniques to make their bouquets last longer.
Waystone Brewing’s atmosphere is designed to feel like “hanging out in someone’s living room,” Moorehouse added. The brewery’s large wooden tables will provide ample space for guests to spread out supplies and craft their bouquets.
The event will feature a variety of fruity mimosas, including orange and pomegranate flavors, to complement the creative atmosphere. Light snacks will also be available for purchase.
Due to high demand, another floral arranging class has been scheduled for the first Saturday in May. Moorehouse encourages those interested to reserve a spot early, as seating is limited.
