The Senior Celebration of the Permian Basin will take place on May 28, 2025, at the Midland County Horseshoe Arena, offering a day of music, dancing, and awards to honor Older Americans and Older Texans Month.
According to a press release, the event, hosted by the Area Agency on Aging of the Permian Basin Regional Planning Commission, will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing a chance for seniors to connect, celebrate, and enjoy community recognition.
The release states that attendees will have the opportunity to connect with others and enjoy entertainment in a social setting. Previous participants have praised the event for its activities and atmosphere.
Organizers expect attendees from across the Permian Basin, including seniors, caregivers, and community members. According to their press release, organizers invite attendees to "join us on the Red Carpet for food, fellowship, and lots o’ fun.”
The Midland County Horseshoe Arena is located at 2514 Arena Trail, Midland, Texas, 79701, off the northbound service road of Interstate 20. Free parking will be available on-site.
