The Loft Midland, an event venue that opened in September 2024, has quickly gained attention for its versatility as a space to host celebrations of all kinds. Co-owned by sisters Camryn and Cierra Stanford, along with Camryn’s fiancé, Kyson Moreno, The Loft was created from a shared interest in party planning and crafting memorable experiences.

“Our interests in party planning definitely played a big role in the inspiration behind the venue,” said Camryn Stanford. “We wanted to create a space where people could come together to celebrate special moments and make lasting memories.”

The Loft offers a blend of elegance and comfort, featuring natural lighting and a flexible layout.

“It’s a ‘blank canvas’ venue that allows renters to customize their events exactly how they envision,” Cierra Stanford explained.

The venue hosts a variety of events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, birthday parties, sip-and-paint nights, and holiday celebrations. Special amenities include customizable decor options, a spacious area for dancing or live music, and add-ons such as balloon arches, indoor bounce houses, and outdoor heaters.

The Loft also offers unique features like a snow cone trailer and a 360-degree spinning photo booth rental.

However, the journey to opening The Loft wasn’t without its challenges.

“Deciding on the right location and securing the necessary trades for building the facility were tough,” the owners said. “But we worked through those hurdles with determination and creativity.”

According to the Stanfords, client feedback has also played a major role in shaping the venue’s approach to the events it hosts.

“We listen to everything our clients say and use it to improve,” Cierra said. “It’s all about making each event truly special.”

The sisters acknowledge that working as a family can be rewarding, but also comes with its share of difficulties.

“We know each other so well, which helps us collaborate,” Camryn said. “There are moments of frustration, but we balance our personal and professional relationships.”

Looking ahead, The Loft aims to become a premier event destination in Midland, Odessa, and the surrounding areas.

“We want to build a strong community presence, collaborate with local vendors, and host events that bring people together,” Cierra said.
