Congressman August Pfluger has expressed his enthusiasm following the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance. In a statement, Pfluger celebrated what he described as a historic moment for America.

“Today, America witnessed history. The 60th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony of the United States of America was marked by hope, as we look forward to the renewal of America under President Trump and Vice President Vance," Pfluger stated.

He noted that during his inaugural address, President Trump delivered "an inspirational message to the American people" and reiterated his commitment to making "America respected again, prosperous again, and proud again." According to Pfluger, Trump's speech highlighted promises aimed at putting "America first."

Pfluger reflected on the past four years and expressed optimism about the changes he expects under Trump's leadership. He mentioned several areas where he anticipates action from the administration: securing borders, enhancing American energy production, improving government effectiveness, combating censorship, and revising policies related to race and gender considerations.

"President Trump has heard the cries from the American people who want real change," Pfluger said. He emphasized his readiness to collaborate with the administration in implementing these policies and integrating Texas values into national governance.

Concluding his statement with a quote from Trump’s address, Pfluger remarked on America's future prospects: “As President Trump said, 'Our country stands on the verge of the greatest four years in American history.' It is a new day in America!”
