The Midessa Boat, RV & Outdoor Sports Show will return to the Ector County Coliseum from Jan. 24-26 after a three-year hiatus. Now under the ownership of Showbiz West Texas and E & G Guns, the event will feature a fresh lineup of family-friendly attractions and exhibits.

New this year is the ArmyBassAnglers Kids Indoor Fishing Tank, where children can learn to cast a line and catch fish.

“Our mission is to inspire a love for fishing through education and hands-on experiences,” a representative from ArmyBassAnglers said.

Another interactive feature is the ArmyBuckHunters Indoor BB Gun Range, designed to teach children firearm safety and basic hunting skills in a controlled environment.

“This event is all about bringing families together and inspiring a love for the outdoors,” said Richard Esparza, promoter with Showbiz West Texas. “With hands-on activities like the fishing tank and BB gun range, alongside our exhibitors showcasing the latest outdoor vehicles and equipment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”

The show will span all seven buildings of the Ector County Coliseum, featuring a variety of boats, RVs, outdoor gear, and firearms. Attendees can also enjoy live demonstrations, exclusive discounts, and vendor markets.

Doors open at 10 a.m. each day. The show will close at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 6 p.m. on Sunday. General admission is $15, with three-day passes available for $30. Children under 4 are admitted free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at EctorCountyColiseum.org or at the Coliseum box office during the event.

Sponsors include All American Chevrolet of Odessa, Family Power Sports, Bailey Toliver RV, West Texas Watersports, Lone Star Power Sports, and ICA Radio Group, which operates KISS FM 103.3, My Country 96.1, KCRS AM, 102.1 The Eagle, and 106.7 Que Buena.
