Natalie Magallanes records 4 rebounds and 3 points in Western New Mexico Mustangs’ loss to Texas–Permian Basin Falcons

On Sunday, January 5, Natalie Magallanes, the accomplished former Midland Legacy High School basketball player, hit the hardwood in the Western New Mexico Mustangs’ 83-to-54 loss to the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons.

The 5′7″ freshman guard contributed three points, four rebounds and two assists in 29 minutes of action.

Magallanes was not the only former Midland Times area athlete to play in Sunday’s game. Former local star Madyson Solis played for the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons.

Solis, a 5′8″ freshman forward from Midland Legacy High School, registered two points and one rebound in four minutes.

Up next for Magallanes and the Mustangs: on Thursday, January 9 at 5:30 p.m., Western New Mexico plays against the Midwestern State Mustangs on the road.

Solis and the Falcons host the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds on Thursday, January 9 at 5:15 p.m.
