An industrial development may be forthcoming after a local engineering firm received approval for a replat request during a recent Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.

According to submitted documents, the replat aims to combine three lots into one tract for ownership purposes, potentially paving the way for future industrial development. Real estate agent Greg Williams with Fathom Realty is listed as the proprietor of the land under the subsidiary BBKG 2261, LLC.

The Planning and Zoning Commission had previously approved a preliminary plat at its November 4 meeting, as said in submitted documents. The 1.94-acre property remains undeveloped.

Ashlee Devine from Maverick Engineering represented the project to the commission. The working name of the property was listed as Final Plat of Fairgrounds Addition, Section 8 in submitted documents. It is located on the west side of Wolfcamp Circle, approximately 500 feet north of Mulberry Lane, near the Reyes-Mashburn-Nelms Park Soccer Fields.
