The Petroleum Hall of Fame has announced its inductees for the 2025 class.

According to a news release, the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum spearheads the event to honor individuals who were crucial to developing the Permian Basin. Inductees must have made significant contributions to the area's petroleum industry and be stewards of the sector. The induction ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Bush Convention Center in Midland.

The inductees include W. E. Connell, recognized as a pioneering figure in both banking and the early development of the Permian Basin’s petroleum industry; Odessa native Jack D. Hightower, who has been a pillar in the industry for over 50 years; Autry C. Stephens, founder of Endeavor Energy Resources; and Peggy C. Worthington, former vice president of land and business development at Bold Energy.

John L. Kennedy, chairman of the Hall of Fame Committee of the Petroleum Museum Board of Trustees, said: "The members of the Petroleum Museum Hall of Fame are a very distinguished group. The inductees for 2025 are an eminent class as well. Their accomplishments in both the oil industry and community show why we are honoring them."
