Waystone Brewing’s Holiday Paint-by-Numbers Night returns on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. This festive event invites participants to unwind with a meditative painting activity perfect for the busy holiday season.
Jaylyn Moorehouse, Waystone Brewing’s creative and event coordinator, expressed excitement about the event’s return after a successful summer session. “Over the summer, we hosted a paint-by-numbers night, and it was a sellout! We wanted to bring it back with a holiday theme this time because of the season we are approaching,” Moorehouse said.
She highlighted the stress-relieving nature of the activity. “This type of painting is a great way to unwind, especially as we enter a very busy month of December. The kits are structured, visually appealing, and easy to complete regardless of artistic experience,” she added.
Each painting session lasts about two hours, providing just the right amount of time for a creative escape. “If you enjoy filling in numbered areas with paint, you can do this!” Moorehouse explained. “It’s a wonderful way to spend an evening out, whether you come with friends or meet new people.”
In addition to painting, participants can enjoy drinks from Waystone Brewing and relax in a welcoming atmosphere. “We encourage everyone to paint at their own pace while enjoying the ambiance. The ginger cookies are a fun touch that adds to the holiday theme,” Moorehouse said.
Waystone Brewing is considering more craft-themed events in the coming months. “A lot of the experiences we offer here are things we’re just in the mood to do at the moment,” Moorehouse said.
Tickets are $30 per person and include all supplies needed to create one of two holiday-themed designs. Participants will also enjoy a gingersnap treat. Spots are limited, so those interested are encouraged to reserve their place by emailing events@waystonebrewing.com or messaging Waystone Brewing on social media.
