Midlanders can kick off the holiday season with a touch of magic at the first-ever Santa at the Gardens event hosted by Café at the Gardens and Alldredge Gardens on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024. The event offers families an unforgettable experience, combining the charm of Santa’s visit with the beauty of a greenhouse setting.

“This event is all about creating memories,” said Sarah Jenkins, sales and marketing director at Alldredge Gardens. “Our greenhouse provides a unique backdrop for family photos—lush greenery and twinkling lights make it a little oasis in the desert, perfect for capturing the joy of the season.”

The event begins with a festive brunch from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Café at the Gardens, where children can meet Santa and share their Christmas wishes. Parents can enjoy a brunch menu with cocktails, wine, and beer. “While the kids enjoy their magical Santa moments, adults can savor festive drinks and relax in a beautifully decorated space,” Jenkins added.

From noon to 3 p.m., families can visit the greenhouse for a free photo opportunity with Santa and his elves. “This is a chance to create those perfect holiday photos, whether it’s for your Christmas card or just to cherish for years to come,” Jenkins said.

The festivities also include a Christmas Open House at Alldredge Gardens’ gift store, where shoppers can begin their holiday shopping. “Our store is packed with Christmas décor, luxury home fragrances, and unique stocking stuffers,” Jenkins said. “It’s a treasure trove for anyone looking to make their holidays special.”

For an added touch of magic, Harmony Science Academy Midland will host a storytelling session. “It’s these little touches that make this event truly magical,” Jenkins said.

With hopes to expand this event in the future, Jenkins expressed optimism for its success. “We’re thrilled to bring Santa to Alldredge and look forward to hosting him again in 2025. This is just the beginning of something truly special for our community.”

Reservations for brunch are recommended to ensure a spot at this enchanting holiday event.
