Passenger numbers rise at Midland International Air & Space Port

Midland International Air & Space Port experienced a notable increase in passenger numbers in October, as reported by the City of Midland. The airport saw a 7.62% rise, with 67,381 passengers compared to 62,609 in October 2023. This marks a positive start to the fiscal year.

Southwest Airlines maintained its lead with 44.5% of total revenue passengers. However, American Eagle showed significant growth year over year at 27.0%, contributing notably to the overall increase in passengers for October 2024 compared to the previous year. The number of revenue passengers for American Eagle rose from 14,779 to 18,770.

The airport also reported $755,808 in parking revenues for October, reflecting a 6.78% increase from October 2023.
