The Tailgate will host a Cowboy Christmas event from December 5 through December 29. The event, located at 4401 N Big Spring Street in Midland, will transform the Tailgate venue into a winter wonderland with festive attractions and activities. It will be open to all ages.
Visitors can expect a vibrant holiday atmosphere with entertainment, seasonal treats, family-friendly games, and immersive experiences that capture the joy of the season, according to the event organizers. The event is designed to bring Midlanders together, and will offer something special for everyone, according to Ariel Herrera, part owner of the Tailgate.
The Cowboy Christmas-themed activities and attractions will include:

- Train Rides
- Carnival Games
- Fire Pits and S'mores
- Hot Chocolate and Cider Bar
- Cowboy Santa Photos
- Christmas Movies
- Light Show
- Bounce Houses
- Cookie Decorating
- Horse Rides
- Christmas Keg Tree
The Tailgate began in 2020 as a food truck park and has grown into a venue for music, festivals, and community gatherings.
