He is survived by his sons, Anthony Joe Brown and William Joe Brown, Jr., partner Joyce, brothers Darnell Brown, Billie Brown, and Tommie Brown, sister Missey Brown, and uncles Joseph Nelson and Kitt Nelson. Willie was reunited in heaven with his parents, Ernest Edward Brown and Dorris Brown, and sister Dora Lee Brown.
