The Midland County Elections Office has reported a voter turnout of 59.33%, with 58,743 ballots cast out of 99,004 registered voters. The results are current as of Nov. 6 at 5:16 a.m.
The following are the results from select contested races:
City Council:
- At-Large: John Burkholder (17,764 votes) and Robin Poole (15,656 votes) are leading in the at-large race, with both candidates set to win.
- District 1: Brian Stubbs (7,945 votes) holds a significant lead over Heather Bredimus (3,238 votes).
- District 2: John Norman was the only candidate running and will take the seat.
- District 1: Michael Booker (2,430 votes) leads Denise Norman (1,062 votes) and Courtney J. Ratliff (1,009 votes).
- District 2: Angel Hernandez (1,931 votes) is ahead of Robert Marquez (1,042 votes).
- District 4: Matt Friez (3,731 votes) narrowly leads Emily Statton Smith (3,219 votes).
- District 7: Joshua Guinn (4,018 votes) holds a lead over Bryan Murry (3,435 votes).
- County Commissioner, Precinct 3: Steven Villela (4,457 votes) leads Luis D. Sanchez (2,944 votes).
- Constable: Jerry Cook II (4,332 votes) wins against Larry Woodruff (2,997 votes).
- Midland Memorial Hospital District Directors, District 6: Bryan Jarman (5,043 votes) is leading Antonio Miramontes (1,611 votes).
