The itinerary for Midland College's annual Christmas-themed celebration, Holiday Evening, has been announced.

According to Midland College (MC), the event has been held for over 30 years, with this year’s celebration scheduled for Dec. 5. The event will be free to the public and will take place at the Allison Fine Arts Building from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

"Hosting Holiday Evening for over three decades has been our honor," said MC President Dr. Damon Kennedy. "This event is a special opportunity for us to bring the community together and spread joy during the holiday season."

Kennedy added that among the events planned for this year are families having their picture taken with Santa Claus by a professional photographer, serving hot cocoa with cookies, a free concert featuring the jazz ensemble, an art show, and hayrides around campus. A $7 Frito-pie fundraiser will be held by the Midland College Alumni and Former Students Association, with proceeds going towards alumni scholarships.
