A San Antonio-based auto group is set to commence construction on a new Mercedes-Benz dealership next year, as per a filing with a state regulatory agency.
Cavender Auto Group, under the leadership of President Stephen Cavender, will establish Cavender Mercedes-Benz of Midland. The $29 million project will feature a 53,204 square foot auto sales and service facility.
According to the filing, construction is scheduled to begin on January 1, 2025, and is expected to be completed by October 31, 2025. The dealership will be situated at 6701 SH 191. Houston-based architects Castles Design Group have been involved in the project.
The Cavender Auto Group's website states that the company has been serving South Texas for over 80 years. It operates 17 dealerships across Texas and Oklahoma, including Mercedes-Benz of Midland and Cavender Subaru of Midland Odessa.
