Throughout his career as a mechanic, including owning his own Body and Mechanic Shops and retiring from ProPetro, Alberto found enjoyment and success. He was noted for his wisdom, love of sharing stories, and appreciation for classic music.
Alberto's life was characterized by his devotion as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, roles he cherished deeply. Survived by his wife Rumalda, sons, John Albert (Tito) Gutierrez, Johnny Joe (J.J) Gutierrez, daughters Rebecca Dominguez, Betsy Fuentez, Brenda Gutierrez, and Rachel G. Rodriguez, all from Midland, TX, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind three sisters, Elena Gutierrez, Elizabeth Aguirre, Virginia Valencia, a brother, Manuel Navarette, and countless others who held him dear.
Alberto is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Augustin, Jesse (Chuy), and Jimmy Gutierrez.
Services for Alberto are under the care of Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral home. Visitation will be open for guests on Friday, October 11, 2024, and Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a special talk scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on both days.
