Johnny Guy Morgan, born in Fort Sumner, New Mexico, to Homer Dale and Helen Shipley Morgan, died on October 2, 2024. He was married to his beloved wife, Teri, for 18 years. Described as the only boy in a family of five, Johnny was known for his love of horses and roping skills, developed in the country where he grew up. He moved to Midland, Texas, in January 1978, and spent 46 years in the national elevator industry.

Survived by his wife, Teri Morgan, and other family members, Johnny is remembered for his loyalty, generosity, and straightforward nature. A celebration of his life will be held on October 19, at the Branch at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Midland. Internment will follow at the Fort Sumner Cemetery in Fort Sumner, New Mexico, on November 2.
