The Midland Chamber of Commerce recently facilitated a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate Magrym Consulting's acquisition of Schumann Surveying.
According to an October 2 Facebook post by the chamber, "Schumann is a trusted name in engineering and land surveying for over 70 years in Midland." The post further said that "Magrym’s acquisition marks the start of the next chapter in a long-standing tradition of delivering exceptional consulting and surveying services to the Midland and Permian Basin communities."
Magrym Consulting, an engineering firm established in 2018, offers civil engineering, environmental, and construction engineering services. The firm operates across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, North Dakota, and Colorado. Its website states that it serves sectors such as energy and transportation.
As a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Small Business Enterprise (SBE), and Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) certified firm, Magrym aims to be a significant player in the civil engineering industry by providing client-focused service from conception to completion.
