Midland Times

Midland - Jack Junior King, known as "Jack", passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 89. He was born on August 24, 1935, in Seminole, Oklahoma. Jack had a long and fulfilling career in the oil industry and was an active member of the Golf Course Road Church of Christ for over forty-six years.

He is survived by his son J.J. King and wife Stacy, daughter Paula Bettis and husband John, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his wife Gala. A graveside service will take place on October 2, 2024, at Little Cemetery in Little, Oklahoma, followed by a Memorial/Celebration of Life service on October 4, 2024, at Golf Course Road Church of Christ. Donations can be made to Midland Christian School in his memory. Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
