Midland, Texas - Gregory "Greg" Jon Alexander died peacefully at home on September 20, 2024 in Midland, Texas at the age of 71. Greg, a fourth-generation Northern Californian, was a U.S. Navy veteran who served as a Nuclear Qualified Machinist Mate, First Class, Submarine duty. After his military service, he pursued a BA in Theatre Arts from California State University at Chico and went on to have a successful career in the arts, culminating in his role as the Technical Director/Shop Foreman at Midland Community Theatre.
In addition to his technical skills, Greg was an award-winning actor who shared his talents both on stage and behind the scenes. He was known for his dedication, humor, and kindness. Greg's Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 2PM on Saturday, October 5 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Midland.
