Born on April 11, 1949, in McAllen, Texas, Scott grew up with his high school sweetheart and eventual wife Chellye. Throughout his life, he served in the army, graduated from Texas A&M, and worked as a Geologist for various oil companies. Scott was known for his love of animals, art, and weather, as well as his dedication to his family.
A private family memorial will be held in honor of Scott's memory. Donations to the Permian Basin Animal Advocates (PBAA) or a preferred animal shelter are suggested to pay tribute to his legacy.
