Midland, July 19, 2024 - David Jeffrey Brashear, 73, known to his loved ones as Jeff, passed away in Midland, Texas on July 19, 2024. Born on March 13, 1951, in Beeville, Texas, Jeff was a graduate of Brazosport High School in Freeport before obtaining his degree from Sam Houston State University. He began his career in the oil and gas industry in Midland in 1974, working for Union Oil of California and Adobe Resources. Jeff is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Alcott Brashear, and his sons, Ryan and Kelly. The family is grateful for the care provided by medical professionals and hospice services.
