Daniel Martinez Mendez Jr., 72, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024. Born in Big Lake, Texas, he served in the U.S. Army before establishing a career with the U.S. Postal Service. Daniel enjoyed sports, particularly basketball and racquetball, and was devoted to his Catholic faith.

Visitation will be held at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, with a rosary at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church.

Daniel is survived by his two sons, Danny and Eric Mendez, his siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
