Lawrence Kenneth "Ken" Marks, lovingly known as a devoted husband, father, Grandaddy, and Greatdaddy, passed away on July 2, 2024, in Midland, Texas at the age of 90. Ken, born on August 28, 1933, in Winters, Texas, dedicated his life to his faith, family, and community. His impactful career in business, particularly in radio and television, and his involvement in various organizations, like Crestview Baptist Church, Midland ISD school board, and the Region 18 Educational Service Center Board, showcased his commitment to serving others.

Ken was recognized for his contributions to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Midland RockHounds, and the Scharbauer Sports Complex. He supported education by establishing scholarships for deserving students and was named a Distinguished Alumni at Winters High School. Beloved by many, Ken leaves behind a lasting legacy of integrity and dedication.

Survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous family members and friends, Ken's passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Permian Basin FCA or Midland Education Foundation are welcomed.

Appreciation was expressed towards the medical staff and caregivers who provided loving care to Ken during his illness.
