Ruth Ellan Lechwar, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully passed away on July 2, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family. Despite battling cancer and other health issues for over five years, Ruth's life exemplified strength, courage, and generosity. In her professional career, she dedicated herself as a telephone operator and later retired as an accounts payable clerk for Agri-Empresa. However, she found her greatest joy in her roles as a housewife and grandmother.

Predeceased by her parents, Victor and Jane Brown, her husband Ron Lechwar, and her sister Dale Garner, Ruth leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her son, daughter, grandchildren, and siblings. Ruth's memory will be cherished by those who were fortunate to know her.

A celebration of Ruth's life will take place on July 9th at Mid-Cities in Midland, Texas. In honor of her love for dogs, memorial donations can be made to the Midland Humane Coalition. Arrangements for the service and remembrance offerings can be made through the Tribute Store designated for Ruth Lechwar.
